Parabolic Trading Strategy

New Week, New Month, and a new set of reliable trade set-ups for Tuesday’s trading session… But one thing that really stands out tonight is the strength of today’s moves, especially the Parabolic move on one of our favorite markets – are you ready?

Crude Oil is Bearish, But Look Where We Finished!

Crude Oil is bearish and trading back inside the tiny trading-range that began today’s session, which tells me to look for selling-opportunities using a buyer-failure pattern up above the high of the range tomorrow morning.

And don’t forget, this trading-range reminds us to buy the low, sell the high, and avoid the middle, which means we can buy low as long as we have the “nested” failure pattern instead.

E-Mini S&P Range-Bound, But Watch Momentum!

E-Mini S&P is range-bound going into Tuesday morning, telling me to buy the low, sell the high, and avoid the middle, with my focus on failure patterns.

And don’t forget, this recent run higher off today’s lows gives the buyers clear momentum going higher, so before I try selling this market back down to the lows, I need to see the buyers try twice to buy the pullback above the range high.

Nasdaq is Three Legs Down (Big Clue!)

Nasdaq is bearish and three legs down at the end of today’s session, which usually results in a sideways trading-range the following day.

Knowing this, my goal is going to be following the bear momentum, looking for selling-opportunities using buyer-failures up above the highs of the range tomorrow morning.

Gold Just Keep Running – When Will It End?

Gold is bullish as it continues its record-breaking run off the lows at the end of May, but eventually all good things much come to an end…

So I’m waiting for a pullback below the moving-average, knowing that sellers will likely (foolishly) try calling a top in this market, and I can buy into their stops for an easy short-covering rally back to re-test the high.

Euro is Parabolic, Don’t Let the Pullback Fool You!

Euro is bullish with a parabolic move higher this afternoon, and these types of “runaway moves” usually result in a very sharp pullback…

Knowing this, I’m waiting for that pullback and will look for buying opportunities, buying into the stops of the counter-trend sellers, for a snap back up to re-test the highs on Tuesday morning.
