3 Rules for Timing the Perfect Entry on Friday

3 Rules for Timing the Perfect Entry on Friday

What’s the secret to timing the perfect entry?

3 Rules — momentum, pattern, and signal.

Momentum tells you which setup works best, then wait for the pattern to confirm, and the signal tells us exactly when to pull the trigger!

We have plenty of great trades setting-up on Emini, Nasdaq and Gold — so make sure you watch tonight’s video and learn my secrets for timing the perfect entry!

E-Mini S&P (ES):

E-Mini Keys to Success:

  • We made a big move today, which often means a narrow range tomorrow
  • Sellers took price lower into a pair of trading-ranges and are now trying to breakout below major support around 4300.
  • Sellers will be looking for breakouts going lower, while buyers will be looking for those breakouts to fail so they can buy it back up into the range above.

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • UP – sell the buyer failure off channel high (or) buy the 123-Reversal
  • DOWN – buy the seller failure (or) sell the bear breakout

E-Mini Nasdaq (NQ):

Nasdaq Keys to Success:

  • The day began inside a range, but a strong breakout over lunch gave sellers their chance to complete a measured-move down at pendulum-swing support.
  • Sellers will be looking for shorts off channel highs above, or with breakouts below.
  • Buyers can buy these lows with a reversal pattern, or they can buy the 123-Reversal

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • UP – sell the buyer failure (or) buy the 123-Reversal
  • DOWN – buy the seller failure (or) sell the breakout
  • SIDEWAYS – sit on hands and wait for a new range, then buy low sell high with failures.

Gold Futures (GC):

Gold Keys to Success:

  • Today’s big move higher means tomorrow is likely a range.
  • Bulls took price higher on strength and will be looking for pullback entries for another leg higher tomorrow morning
  • Buyers would love a slightly deeper pullback down into the ‘Battle Zone’, or a breakout going higher.
  • Sellers need to be careful because buyers will likely be looking for entries as it pulls back.  They need to wait for a turn in momentum going lower, or look for a reversal after a retest of the highs.

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • UP – buy the bull breakout (or) sell the buyer failure
  • DOWN – sell the 123-Reversal (or) buy the seller failure
  • SIDEWAYS – avoid the range middle, wait to buy below the range with failures.
